Where Adventures Begin
Pixie is a Singaporean illustrator, who is a mum to 2 children. Her love for art started from young where she would doodle everywhere she goes. After being a mum, she now sees the world through her children’s eyes. Her illustrations depict her hopes, joy and anything fun under the sun. Some of her illustrations are drawn together with her young daughter, who share the same love for art. She hopes that their art will spread joy and happiness to people around her.
Many of Pixie in Paintland’s artworks feature the Little Black Egg (LBE). LBE was born because Pixie wanted to create a fun character that would tickle her children.
The Little Black Egg is uniquely Singaporean. He is an average “egg” joe who lives with his family in the century egg porridge. He loves to daydream. Sometimes, he imagines himself to be a balloon traveling around the world. Join him in his little adventures and spot him in Pixie’s doodles!
